At Wise Owl, we offer a nurturing, stimulating, and collaborative learning environment for our young students from PreKindergarten through Grade 5.
Early Years Program
Our Early Years Program focuses on the holistic development of each child, fostering academic, physical, social, emotional, and creative growth. In Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten, students engage in exploration, creation, and discovery using hands-on materials. They learn through group activities, pair work, and independent play, all within a caring and engaging setting.
Grades 1 through 5
For students in Grades 1 through 5, we follow the Canadian education system and standards, while also setting our own standards based on the needs of individual students. Our curriculum includes English, Mathematics, Science, Social studies, STEAM, Art, PE, Music, Drama and French language. Students are encouraged to challenge themselves, explore their interests, and develop the skills and knowledge necessary for middle school. Emphasis is placed on strengthening social and academic skills, particularly in English speaking, writing, listening, and reading.

Junior and Senior Kindergarten
Wise Owl’s Junior and Senior Kindergarten programs prioritize the comprehensive development of each child, going beyond academics to foster creativity, social growth, and a genuine love for learning. Our thoughtfully designed curriculum offers a dynamic and enriching experience through interactive activities and hands-on projects, allowing young minds to absorb knowledge while expressing their personalities and creativity.
Junior Kindergarten

Senior Kindergarten
Transitioning to Senior Kindergarten is a pivotal stage at Wise Owl, where we focus on nurturing creativity and applying knowledge in practical ways. This phase emphasizes refining skills in mathematics, science, language arts, and art, offering a well-rounded educational journey.

Elementary Program
The elementary program at Wise Owl Private School is an enriched curriculum based on the current Ontario Curriculum. Building Skills for Academic Success
Our elementary program equips students with the essential skills and knowledge they need to excel academically. Through a combination of independent work and collaborative group activities, students develop leadership abilities, etiquette, and good manners. Homework is assigned regularly to consolidate their learning, helping students develop strong study habits and learning skills that will benefit them throughout their academic careers.
Academics

Sciences

French
Our Elementary French program for grades 1-5 at Wise Owl Private School is designed to immerse students in the French language and culture from an early age.
Through engaging activities, songs, games, and interactive lessons, students develop basic communication skills and a strong foundation in reading, writing, and speaking French.
